West Mansion: The Splatterhouse Homepage is BACK!

Hey all. Long time, and all that.

Just wanted to let anyone here that wasn't aware know that the internet's oldest Splatterhouse website (20 years this year!), West Mansion, has officially reopened as of Halloween, and I've started updating the site regularly again. Playing a decade's worth of catch-up certainly gives me a lot to work with.

Welcome back and glad to see the site is back as well! By reading your Halloween post, it sounds like it’s been quite the decade for you. I’ve done the divorce thing (and remarried) too in that time frame as well, but your roller coaster has been more wild than mine. Also hlad to see some nice classic HTML design in the age of super interactive sites!

Thanks Yoshi! Sorry for seriously necrobumping that thread earlier, but I didn't know if this news warranted a new thread or not.

But yeah, it has been one hell of a decade since I shut the place down. And I'd rather be using something I'm comfortable with than trying to learn a whole new way to build a website. Besides, it keeps the classic feel of the place alive.

I used to make sites like this in HomeStead and GeoCities back in the day. dedicated to Dragon Ball Z. had the guestbook and counter as well. good times
