I am putting this out to you guys now, sure, the game won't even release untill early 2004, but I need to know if anybody is planning on getting Everquest 2 for the PC, I am, and I just thought it would be nice to group with some people I know instead of complete strangers online.

Of course I'll need to beef up my PC first :( but i have almost a year to do that.

I'm considering it. I want to weigh the options and make a decision between that and FFXI when they both come out. I probably won't play EQ2 if you're able to bring over your old characters, I didn't realize that option was going to be included.

One of the main fun things about the first EQ was I joined within the first month of it being released. Everyone was new to the game, there was no powerleveling, no one knew what to do, it was a lot of experimentation, and I could always find people my level to group with. When I went back and tried playing again recently (starting over), I found myself soloing constantly, and it sucked. No one was helpful or felt like talking, even on the barnd new server. I don't think I'll be playing everquest anymore if ti's going to be like that.

Raedon, you thought wrong, I can rock Eq2 ALL night and all day.

I played EQPC all day and night....the only thing hindering me is of course....work and school.

I only work weekends, and usually from like 7am-3pm, or 8am-4pm.

I am still working on getting my PC right now, but rest assure, If you also get it, we can group together, I plan on being a Dwarven Cleric on my first character, I am taking him to 60-70 or so, then starting a Monk. Hopefully you can group with me all the way to 100.
