Most likely this collection will have a physical release just through lrg then a bundle with shredders revenge.I just hope the online co-op and emulation is done right since it's being handle by digital eclipse.

If it's on Steam then that's where I'm getting it. This is great - putting this on my wishlist for sure. Might wait until it goes on sale, though - already have all the NES games.

Cool collection of games, especially when a number of the original carts have gotten expensive secondhand, and it's great that Konami is doing a regular retail release of this themselves. Companies like LRG are great when the alternative is no physical release at all, but I kinda hate when the big publishers who could easily produce a physical release of any of their games themselves choose to go that route. It just means fewer copies to go around, available for a short length of time, and likely at a higher price point. I'm happily surprised Konami would do this, considering they were handing Castlevania over to LRG.

yea i added my distaste for these "limited release" companies a few threads down. although they might be good games in the end they arent so limited and wind up in stores any way.

still no solid release date on this game which is kinda a bummer

It’s coming out on December 28th and will ship from Amazon on January 2nd. Amazon has pre-orders up now.

Right dunno why they announce a release date so early to begin with. It's digital release has had some bugs with patches required that's probably why it's retail release has gotten delayed.

God this makes me so happy. TMNT is my favorite fiction and I love compilations, plus my two favorite genre are on this collection.

And I cannot wait to pore over the design docs.

Those Xbox achievements... sheesh. They spent about 30 seconds of effort on that.

So far my multiplayer experience has been not very good. I have played with my brother a few times and have not been able to finish a session yet without the game freezing and him getting kicked. Still awesome collection, but I hope they can get the multiplayer fixed.

I'm not really a fan of these dime a dozen beat em ups on offer and even then it's like, here's TMNT The Arcade Game, here's TMNT Turtles in Time, here's a bunch of other worse iterations and eight versions of the fighting game each version worse than the SNES version. I'm getting it once it's $20 because I do like TMNT and the first one on NES especially, but the only reason it's such a popular beat em up series is the coat of paint has some turtles on it. There's some other coats of paint that are as good throughout history as the genre has barely went anywhere other than the rare quality game here and there, but hey, it's turtles. HYPE!!

I'd rather overpay for ignoring and later on finding out how fun of a beat em up Fight N Rage is than getting this collection at all. Basically, overrated beat em ups are overrated.

After (regrettably) buying this on sale over the weekend, I just now noticed you can earn every single achievement/trophy in the game in about 5 minutes just by watching those speedrun videos they have on the menu.

Wow, how pathetic is that?
