Speaking of shooters, Darius II was released here as Sagaia on the Genesis, and I believe Darius Twin is more or less the same game for the Super Famicom (Super Nova on the SNES, by the way).

Close, but not quite. Darius II was renamed Sagaia here for the Genesis, yes, but Darius Twin was an all new game, not be confused with the later release Super Nova, which was yet another all new game and may have possibly been known as Darius III - can anyone shed some light on this one?

I can confirm that Darius Twin for the SNES is not the same game as Sagaia for the Genesis. The question is: is Darius Twin for the SNES the same game as Darius Twin for the Super Famicom (the one Greg's talking about)?

To my knowledge, yes. Darius Twin came out in 1991 for both the SNES and SF, and Super Nova was released several years later.
