Sega genesis kiosk and xbox 360 prototype console value?

I have not posted in a while but have a question that I’m hoping someone could help me with. I have the following genesis kiosk:

Does anyone know what a fair price would be for this? I also have an xbox 360 model 2 prototype new in box. This the nonworking unit that has an unpopulated board in it.

I’d post this over at SEGA-16. That Genesis crowd would probably have a better idea of its value. I’d say it’s easily a couple of Benjamin’s, at the low end.

Something seems to be wrong with sega16’s forum. It says certificate expired every time I try to use it. I will keep trying and let you know what they say when I can post.

It's hard to know what the current value would be as pricing for gaming stuff has changed so much over the last few years. The DS-16 cartridge selector alone would be worth several hundred dollars, even about 10 years ago this would go for several hundred dollars in auctions. I would think this specific version of Genesis kiosk would be worth four figures today, it really could be worth quite a bit. Condition would affect value too.

I also know that a DS-18 does exist that can hold 8 cartridges instead of 6, this is incredibly rare and would be much more valuable than the DS-16.

Melf moved the site to its own server. You can still get in there, even though Microsoft is reporting a certificate problem.
