So I was looking for Wii development stuff. Apparently I found out that with your modded/letter-bombed Wii you can bring back life to those Wii channels ( like the weather channel ) and others. One of those channels you literally could order from various food services.

Apparently in Europe this caught on, so the channel will actually show other locations ( partiticipating food/beverages places ). For the U.S. your limited to Domino's, you have two things you need.

1. a discord account that links to Domino's Pizza to post your machine ID.
2. You have to input your delivery address at some point.

Beyond that your not getting anything special at all. Your literally paying for the pizza at the prices of how things was setup back in 2009. Which means all the deals domino's have now, will not count, and walking into a store would be a lot cheaper.

................

Blah blah I am sure everybody knows that we all could assign whatever servers to play
COD, Mario Kart, Smash, and Pokemon....blah blah...

I am just making this post on the subject of bringing back life into the Wii.

Another thing to note is the wii can also run flash to some extent but for some reason is sluggish.

Another thing to note is the wii can also run flash to some extent but for some reason is sluggish.

That's because the Wii uses a gimped version of ActionScript 2.0 (3.0 was the newest version when the Wii was released and other things were in use by the time Wii modding became a thing) and the Opera browser uses Adobe Lite....3, I think. Basically stuff that was primitive before the Wii was manufactured. It was a large issue on flash game sites of the time. Sites like Neopets couldn't regulate the cheating because the Frankenstein Flash the Wii used fell just inside their operation standards, but far enough out into left field that it screwed with how several parts of the site functioned. There were a couple games I enjoyed that I only realized weeks later I wasn't actually getting super good at. The WiiBrowser just couldn't/wouldn't render certain animations, so the game skipped them.

All that side, Wii modding is still a pretty deep and popular subject to this day. Mine hasn't seen use in years, but it was mostly an emulation box.
