I liked Double Dragon Neon a lot. Unsure about this one - almost looks like there are "fighting game" moves. There's a level of complexity to a fighting game that's just not there in the typical beat 'em up, and a line that this can probably cross where it wouldn't be fun for me. Not sure if this has crossed that line - probably need to see more gameplay videos.

The point being DD has to be colorful and fun. There is this "Space Invaders" ( Space Raiders ) game on the GCN for instance. Kinda bland but fun colors still.
I am just making the point everybody knows by heart

Like "Total Recall" / "Conan" / "Dune"/ "Robocop 2" versus. "The recent remakes/reboots etc"

If it is not colorful, alive, and full of life I do not want to play a bland thing that looks like "Fallout" world ( AKA outside right now ). Maybe somebody who has not lived or seen that at all. In fact even, places like that in real life are colorful, and people dress up, and attempts to look nice.

Double Dragon needs to be popping...unless the action is going to be that good and not generic, and the lines and cutscenes are up to "Metal Gear" and martial-art movies from the 1970's happening. If not I am not going to be having a good time.

DD:Neon did that and more. Was fun while delivering DD action. You have to remember that DD was and is always really a work of fiction and never real to begin with. It is even stated in "River City Ransom" where the duo mentions about going to America to be movie stars.

Sadly I have to think about that terrible movie which was lame in so many more ways then possible.
