Sega Ages 2500: Phantasy Star

It rocks. Screw what Famitsu said. It's got nice 2D graphics, the music is the same, but obviously updated from the original. So far the city layout and whatnot is the same.

One thing TOTALLY diffferent is the items. Right off the bat, you can get two kinds of medicines, an atlas which will map 100 steps in the cave, and some other things. The 3d dungeons are still there as well.
Also, everyone you talk to has names this time, and the shops looks a lot cooler.

All for less than half the price of a normal game.

well, i'm actually in the process of contacting a couple of smaller publishers here to see if anyone's interested, and i now have a contact at SEGA, so i can see what the "official" word is...

I read on another board that it's release date was "TBA"... which might've meant it's release in general is TBA... IE, might not get released.
You definitely need it in English if you can't read Japanese... even if you know the first game inside and out.
