Hello retro gamers.

I have been retro gaming for a long time, actually my whole life even before I could walk I was playing Atari 2600 as when I was born my dad had a Jr and games.

As you can see I've been a member of this forum since 2008. but I've never really posted too much here, it's too easy to get lost in the ridiculously massive crowd of posters that this forum always had.

Anyway I managed to remember my password for this ancient account as I am searching for a photo that I have posted many years ago of having a Super NES UFO Copier hooked up to a PC via Serial cable and loading games via the PC. I know I posted it somewhere and thought it may have been this website but when I went to attachments it was empty. I also tried searching past thread but no luck. I guess user's images are deleted after a certain amount of years.

I am asking here on the off chance there is someone who has been here from the beginning and remembers me and could possibly help me out.

I need the photo for an article I'm writing for my website. I have made a website this year that is specifically for retro gamers. It is still small-ish in terms of visitors (about 1000 per week).

However it has a lot of content, if you are a retro gamer I'm sure you will enjoy my website. please visit it

https://retrogame.news/

I also have a youtube channel, itch.io channel and an online store that sells quality retro gaming products. if you visit my website you can find all of those.

If you know anything about the photo I'm after please let me know. or even if you have a similar photo that I can use

Thanks all and happy [retro] gaming!

Ran through your post history, you posted in a thread about the UFO Super Drive (https://forum.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?112786-UFO-Super-Drive) in 2008, but edited out both your posts a day later. If you go back to those posts and try to edit them, it's possible there is still a saved copy of either and maybe anything you uploaded directly. Might be worth asking Nz17 if he can access the old images on his end, I don't know how far back the current software saves stuff.

There were only a very small handful of noteworthy retro sites back then, so the pool of places to check is pretty small. Did you AtariAge and RFGeneration? NintendoAge is off the table, any backups of that forum are text only.

What happens often with these old forums are that when they get moved from server to server, things are lost. There was a major meltdown several years ago, where Nz17 was able to "save" the forum database, and the digitpress.com stuff, but maybe the attachments were lost along the way.

PS: Your website has way too many ads
