Anyone interested in Capcom CPS 2 "B" boards?
I have two that I am thinking of selling:
X-Men vs. Streetfighter
Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom (w/manual)
If anyone is interested, let me know and make me a respectable offer.
Thanks,
Steve

I am, but I already have those 2 games.
Buy these games people, there is NOTHING better than playing the actual arcade games. The ports are shit in comparison.

Shit Butta,
I was hoping that you wouldn't have these yet... ;)
Definitely - they are clean and nice, and work perfect.
Nothing like a Rogue and Chun-Li tag team layin' the smack down. O_O
Buy, buy, buy - AHHH!

Sell them on eBay.. you'd get good $$$ for it..
I sold my Xmen: Children of the atom B board (together with the A board) for ~95$US!!!!
Now my arcade machine is running MAME and I can't tell the difference.. (mind you it's a 2.4Ghz machine in the box.. but still)

Hey, that's great, sell the real game, and go play the rom for free.
Lame.

That's a little low. I just got the A & B board for XMEN vs SF for $150 shipped. I've only had it for about three weeks are so.
I'm not selling the A board right now, so I would cut that out of the price.
The least amount I would sell the B board for would be $100 plus shipping (your choice of shipping, but I like to us US Priority Mail.)
Just let me know.
Thanks,
Steve

Just curious, what's the difference between A and B boards?

A board is the motherboard, B board is the game.
So if you started collecting CPS2 stuff, you only need one A board, and you just switch the games out.

What do you mean?? The amount of $$$ I spend restoring this arcade machine (lamination, building a new CP, running new power, re-capping the monitor, purchasing and installing top of the line Alpine car speakers, Sony amp, 110V -> 12V power converter, 2.4Ghz machine, etc..) I could have purchased half a dozen CPS2 boards..
So why did I do it?? Easy.. so I can play Arcade, SNES & Genesis games all in the same place.. be able to enjoy games I otherwise couldn't (due to cost, or space constraint in a small apartment) not to mention that I now don't have to fear about those CPS2 boards performing suicide on me!
Still think it's LAME.. my family and friends don't.. neither do the huge amount of people that are over at BYOAC.

That's no excuse.

I know of a few people that will change the battery on a CPS2 for a small charge, and another that can fix certain CPS2 games so they don't even need the battery.
Still think it's LAME..
Yes. I can't afford a Neo Geo 4 slot, so I'm gonna walk into an arcade with a dolly, and take one. Basically, that's what you're doing.

O_O
While I enjoy a good debate more than most, especially when Butta's involved, let's not turn my post into an emulator vs pcb battlezone.
Now, back to the matter at hand...
I can inlcude the A board as well, as I have another on it's way to me.

Sorry about derailing the thread Steve.
Now someone buy these games already!!! Not much better than classic Capcom arcade games.
