About 2 months ago, I "won" some NES games from Ebay. Normally, if a seller doesn't list a shipping cost, I will e-mail and ask for a shipping quote before I bid.
However, this auction said, "Shipping is at Cost" which I took to mean the actual USPS fees. So, I won the auction and the seller contacts me with a $25 shipping amount (the auction was only $15) in fees. I balked at that and he assured me that he would Paypal me the difference back after he shipped.
So, he ships and sends me an e-mail similar to the following:
USPS Shipping Charge: $7
Box: $4 @_@
Packing: $4 O_O
Cab Fare: $10 :o
This moron claimed he didn't have a car so his "Cost of Shipping" included $10 cab fare.
However, what can you do? Trade negative feedback?
