SIN on the PC. Anybody remember that game?

I was reading a old video game mag the other day, and they had a huge preview on the PC game SIN. I was wondering if anybody remember this game?


The reason that I bring it up, is that I remember when it first came out, I got it for my PC, but my PC just didn't have enough horsepower to run the game properly at the time.

I liked the game alot, but my PC simply wasn't fast enough back then to run the game right. So I stopped playing it.

Anywas, I was thinking of trying to play it again, but I was wondering if anybody knows if there were any versions of SIN that were released after the original was released that fixed any bugs or issues with the first release.

You know, kinda like Half Life: Game of the Year version. Where they come out with the same game much later after it was originally released, but it contains bug fixes and runs better with more of the latest 3D accelorators.

I know that this forum isn't really a place to talk about old PC games, but I thought that somebody here might know.

It was a pretty fun game. They had updates on their website that fixed the major issues (like the long load time and HUGE gamesaves) But I don't think they came out with a different version that had the upgrades included.

a great game indeed, still have it somewhere :roll:

afaik there where no updated releases, but of course as with any pc game there were updates available (and still are)

mh i wonder if i ever finished the game? mh i don't know :(

I have seen a complete in jewel case budget rerelease put out by softkey or a similiar company, but I do not know what version it is. This makes me think it would still be available at places like EB, Toys R Us, OfficeMax, Comp USA and other places that stock the budget rereleases for about $10 msrp.
