After scouring the Flea Market and dealing with the incomeptant bastards who think they know EVERYTHING about video games and their values, I decided to go to Borders bookstore to look for a CD. Toys R Us was next door and I almost decided to not go in. Boy was I glad I did..... I walked into the video game section and found 5 copies of Frogger for sega genesis sitting on a shelf next to some dreamcast games. None had prices. So I asked the employee how much they were, he said I had to go to the register.
Turns out they are no longer in the inventory anymore, and had no prices. He called the manager, and they told me that if I wanted, I could have Frogger for $0.90 . I said I'd take all 5! It then crossed my mind that maybe more were in hiding! It turns out my intuition was right, and here is what I scored:

Sega Genesis, all sealed all $0.90 each.

Frogger (x10)
Jurassic Park (x12)
Family Feud (x1)
Desert Strike (x1)

Total Price $21.60 (no sales tax in Delaware)

This is the best find I have had in awhile. The moral of the story? it pays to ask! Check your local Toys 'R Us!! :rocker:

Jurassic Park (x12)

Is it THAT good a game?

Actually, yeah, I thought it was a fun game (definitely the best of all the Jurassic Park games across the systems at the time). Is this the plastic case version or a cardboard box reissue?

Jurassic Park (x12)

It is a decent game, but it should be good trade bait for future dealings! Congrats on your find. <<Now leaving to check the local TRU>> :-D

they are all cardboard rereleases, still 90 cents sealed is great!

90 cents a piece is great. IMO, the cardboard box versions are definitely harder to find too. They're not "rare" or anything, but I've seen a whole lot more in plastic than I've seen in cardboard. I didn't even know Jurassic Park was released in cardboard.

Yeah, I believe they are all Majesco re-releases. Except frogger which is released by majesco originally.

Okay I was inspired by your find so I went to Toys R US. I asked the guy and he brought out a box of sega/snes/game gear games still sealed! He wouldn't let me buy doubles incase I was going to sell them to make money.

So I bought 22 games for $50!

SNES:
X-Men Mutant Apocalypse
Earthworm Jim 2

Genesis:
NBA Action 95
Ultimate Mortal Combat
NBA Live 98 (r5)
NBA Live 96
Jungle Strike
Urban Strike
FIFA 96
F22
Mario Andretti Racing
Jeopardy!
Bass Tournament 96
Pebble Beach Golf Links

Gamegear:
Aladdin
Pac-man
Lion-King
Sports Trivia (x2, guess we missed a double =p)
Sonic Spinball
Sonic Chaos
Caesars Palace

Only thing is that it's a lot of sports titles, but at ~2.25 cents a game SEALED BRAND FREAKING NEW...I'm happy!
