Something seems extremely not right about that. why would they venture together? they wouldn't

and why not in a sony tv?

Still suspicious, but it isn't much of a stretch for a third party to approach the companies and offer to pay for their hardware for use in a product such as this. To Sony and Microsoft it's just another customer paying for their hardware/buying it from them. Even still it's shakey that they'd be willing to have their units get marketed together and perceived as such.

There are a lot of wrong things about that thing.

Panasonic partnered with Nintendo.
Xbox with RCA.
Sony with...well...themselves.

Not only that, it has a round tube, only has a 4:3 aspect ratio (as opposed to 16:9), not HDTV compatable, and has a severe lack of inputs Even if it did come out, I wouldn't waste my money on it.

Likely to be BS indeed. Nothing easier than to add an Xbox logo on a TV with Photoshop (or some other image editing software).

Also, as said above, Panasonic was partnered with Nintendo for the Panasonic GameCube Q and there is no reason why anyone other than Sony themselves would release a TV with an integrated PS2.

BTW, that seller has absolutely no feedback, so someone not too weary about feedback would be more likely to fall for this scam.

Besides, here's an example of what an actual TV with disc-based integrated consoles would look like: http://www.technofile.com/articles/panasonic_dvd_combo.html. Granted, this refers to a TV/DVD/VCR/FM combo by Panasonic, but if this auction were for real, we'd see clearly where the tray(s) would be for both the Xbox and PS2.

At the end of most beta tests, aren't you required to return the equipment? It would be a pretty expensive test if they gave $600 toys to everyone.

With 0 feedback, I'd probably put a few more pictures -- like showing the thing in action.

Also, was this the quietest beta test ever? I never heard a word about it before hand, and you would think that deal would have been all over the news.

One minor picky note. Everyone knows that a 27" television doesn't have a 27" viewing area. If it did, the tube would fall out.

I bet if the shell was taken off the TV it's just an X-box and Ps2 hooked into a TV. I doubt that it was proffesionaly done. Cause They are heavy competators.
Lets see what the judges say

It may an antic whereas the author wants to get a point across, but his auction is still bullshit and fraud. Some naive sucker is falling for this prank and this is not okay, even if the seller retracts his auction.

The TV being used in that obvious Photoshop creation is at least four years old; I have a 27" Panasonic just like that one in my house.

Can you say "shady and dishonest", kids? :o
