Just a sort of heads up, and also me curious as to how many people besides me use this, the eBay video game reorganization has caused the eBay Assistant on the site to have many broken links. NES, Genesis, SNES amongst them (fortunatly my two favorites, TG-16 and SFC still work).

So now I must go through the rough process of hand searching myself :-D

Does anyone else use this? Would it be hard to repair?

Inquiring mind(s) want to know!

Sometimes I use it. Most of the stuff that I look for, though, is not on it, so I usually have to look it up on eBay myself. It probably wouldn't be difficult for Joe to fix, just time consuming. (Of course, then he could add things like Game.com and Game Wizard ;) LOL )

I figured lots of the links would be broken since eBay's recent category changes - many of the searches there were within specific categories. I'll fix it but if someone would be so kind as to tell me which ones are broken it would REALLY speed things up.

By the way, lots of people use that page, based on its page counter... so I do need to fix this soon.

One thing I noticed about the Ebay Assistant is under Famicom games it searches for (famicom, famicon) -super. This might be good for keeping out Super Famicom Games, but what if I want to look for Super Mairo Bros. 3 for the Famicom. It wont be listed with that search.

Agreed! This was intentional though the search was written when I was but a n00b to the eBay search tactics. When I fix this, I'll fix it for good.

PS why would you be looking for a Super Mario Famicom game?

I wasn't really looking for a Super Mario Famicom game (I wouldn't mind having it though, or Super Mario 2, or USA), I was just using it as an example. There are a lot of games that use Super in front of the title though.

PS I usually use the ebay assistant to just browse to see what cool things I can find. I use ebay.ca to search for things, since a lot of people do not ship to Canada.

UPDATE:

eBay Assistant Update: In case you haven't noticed, eBay recently changed their categories which significantly affects your searches for video games. If you've used our eBay Assistant since the change you may have noticed some weird results. All of the links have been updated to reflect eBay's new category structure, and while we were in there, we added a few more systems to speed up your searches!

ALSO NOTE: if you have saved searches in your "my eBay" page, I'd highly recommend checking them all out again.
