I just bought this book last week (got it via Amazon on Friday). It covers the stories behind the creators of some of the greatest multiplayer games, from Richard Garriott to John Carmack and John Romero, from Willie Crowther and Dan Woods (Adventure) to Richard Bartle and Roy Trubshaw (creators of the first MUD).

It's a fascinating book and it reads like a novel. Unlike books like High Score! and the Ultimate History of Videogames, it isn't about the gaming industry as such but the game creators themselves (the authors are quick to recommend both books in their preface for a history of the industry).

I don't regret making my purchase. It's yet another great read about games (computer games in this case). :D
