NFL '95 starring....Ummm, no one.

Hi Folks,

I wasn't sure if this should go in the collecting forum, but here goes.

I got a hold of NFL '95 by Sega for the Genesis. In the DP guide, it is labelled as NFL '95 starring Joe Montana. Well, Montana is listed nowhere in the game or in the box or manual. However, ol' #19 is on the box with a bunch of other players....it's a crappy profile though, and unless you knew he was #19, you'd have never known it (it just looks like a bunch of football players...can't see any faces at all).

So, was the name of this game changed? Is there 2 versions?

Nope, you're right... there's no mention of Joe Montana on the packaging at all. Looks like I got '94 and '95 confused a little.

And I went through 15 or so minutes of confusion and trying to fact-dig all for a Genesis sports title before posting this thread. I mean, who on earth would go out of their way for a Genesis sports title? Oh the humanity! LOL LOL LOL

Oh Yeah, funny side note:

I couldn't give a crap about football....the only reason I noticed his profile was even on '95 was because I saw his mug on '94...with the number on his jersey showing. Total accident.
