I can pick up this game for $18 is it worth picking up?

Definitely, if it's complete. I would probably would do it loose too.

It's pretty rare, so from a collector's standpoint, hell yeah. As for playability, I don't know. However, I used to really dig the SNES and Genesis Clay Fighters. I thought they were fun and funny as hell. I would imagine the N64 version is better....maybe.

I picked it up loose this Monday at a fleamarket for $10 Cdn. Only seen one fight on it as my son tried it out for me. It looked okay, seemed like there may be some funny stuff. My son was getting a noogy from a clown and the clown was saying noogy lol.

I got lucky and picked one up a few weeks ago from some folks who were selling all there N64 games for $5 each. It was complete with box and Instructions. It had been a rental and was re-shrinkwrapped by Blockbuster. Of course it had been opened so when I got home I felt obligated to play it.......it's a pretty cool fighting game....
