A few quick questions.
1) Do I need to complete all the property assests to complete the game? (my Mr. Whoopee WON'T play music so i can't even start the cherry popper mission?!!?)
2) Can some one post the bare essentials of completing that game?
i.e. what missions can I skip and still win.
3) I'm like so totally frickin' stuck and stuff.
I robbed the bank and completed the Phil Cassidy missions and I haven't got any new missions.

I sort of finished the game...Well I went to the ending..I still need to find all the packages and some other things to get 100%
Did you try pushing in on the analog stick to make the Mr. Whoopee's music start playing..?
The same way you would blow the horn on the cars..
I haven't had this game in the PS2 for awhile..I hope I'm not way off on this..

I think this game is far from perfect.
I think the greatest flaw is the difficulty restarting the last mission. It should be like Tony Hawk 4, where you can instantly retry last goal, rather than have to drive halfway across town, sit through some cell phone calls, and then drive all the way across town to complete the mission. Instant mission retry is what these games need.

Yep, pressed the horn button...NADA.
If I can skip that mission I will, I don't really care about selling crack or whatever.
My main concern is that I can't advance if I don't complete it.
I am also curious as to the necessity of the Boatyard and Sunshine Auto. I am half way through the Sunshine raises (mainly by cheating...using the Rhino cheat and blasting your competition after countdown works nicely. However you need to bail the tank ASAP or the fuzz will nail ya)

Have you guys gone to www.gamefaqs.com? They have several complete walkthroughs for that game.
Personally, I love Vice City for PS2 and I'm going to play the PC version soon.

Yeah that very much does suck but at least in vice city they have that taxi option to take you back to where you left off unlike gta 3.

That's the reason I never beat the last mission. I did EVERYTHING else in the game, every other mission, all the side quests, got all the property, but I never beat the last mission. I tried it probably 3 or 4 times before I gave up because it was so damn long.

I used a code..Codes to pass the last mission..I couldn't do it without them.

Now..I've been thinking about this every day..I'm too lazy to go to gamefaqs .
Honestly I was just sitting on the bowl and saying to my self."Cherry Popper mission"..(Since all I do is think about video games all day.)
What's the Cherry Popper mission...
(my Mr. Whoopee WON'T play music so i can't even start the cherry popper mission?!!?)
I don't remember doing a Cherry Popper mission..
All I remember is when I bought the Ice Cream place..All I could do is drive around in the truck and sell crack..or.
I thought that was all it was about..Sort of giving you a taste of what it was like back then and a way to make extra cash for your character..
Man If I did this mision, whew it was quick...
Clicking to gamefaqs..

Ok ..here we go...
Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory Asset Missions |
\================================================= ============================/
Location: Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory is located along the Main highway
of the west island in Little Havana. You can get there by following the cherry
icon on the radar.
Cost: $20000
Daily earnings: $3000
Background: In these missions, you will be using the ice cream factory as a
front to sell drugs.
/-----------------------------------------------------------------------------\
| Distribution |
\-----------------------------------------------------------------------------/
Pay: N/A
Needed: Mr. Whoopee
Receive: Cherry Popper Ice Cream Factory asset complete.
Mission Difficulty: 5/10
Objective: Make deals with 50 drug users in one go.
To start this mission, you will need to enter the Mr. Whoopee van that is in
the entrance to the factory. Once you have entered it, the mission, will start
automatically. Once the mission has started, you must play the jingle (by
pressing the L3 Button) to start dealing drugs and it will draw drugies to you.
Also once you start playing the jingle a counter will appear on your screen
saying how many deals you have done. Once you are ready, the best place to
make deals is down at the harbor in Vice Port. This is because there is plenty
junkies down there and there is also a Pay 'N' Spray close by for when you get
the cops on you. Unlike other side missions, there is no time limit for this
mission, so you have as long as you want to drive around between deals but if
you leave the van, you will fail the mission. You won't be able to know who
are junkies so to make a deal just stop next someone (usually the men in blue
overalls) and if they are a junkie, an arrow will appear above them and they
will come up to the van and start talking. While the deal is being done,
don't move or the deal will be canceled. You will know when the deal is done
as the arrow above the person, will disappear and they will walk away. For
every 4 deals you do, you will get one star to your wanted level so when you
get one start it is a good idea to go to the Pay 'N' Spray that is very near
by. The quickest way to make the 50 deals is to pull up next to a group of
people so that you can do three or four deals at once. Also while you are in
the middle of a deal, it is a good idea to look out for any cops that are on
foot because they will pull you out of the van and will get busted. Once you
have made the 50 deals, just get out of the van and you will be told that
the ice cream factory asset is complete.
Oh..Ok..I used a code for this too..
The code to get rid of my wanted level.
