3 People left in three days :(

I was glad Camofrog left, but then Maddie, and then Bob left. Granted I got three new people as well, but my town is still pretty skimpy. They all left to a new town I created on a different memory card (Mostly just for an extra shop and to get cherries).

Are they just moving because the new town is (WAS) smaller? Will they stop leaving once it evens out?

i think they're programmed to leave just so you travel more. i'm guessing nintendo wants to encourage memory card trading, so the game is assuming you're taking your card elsewhere and visiting friends...

i'll have to grab a third card and try this next week or so...

Actually, I found out having 2 towns REALLY SUCKS.

EVERY time you leave town, someone goes with you. So when me and my wife were going to the new town all day since our store was closed. And the person in the new town didn't come to ours at all. Our town ended up with THREE people, and the new town had ELEVEN people in it.

Oops.

I had to have the new char go back my town over and over to get everyone back, and it's a big BIG mess.

Moral of the story... DON'T MAKE TWO TOWNS. Unless you are actually going to play people in both towns and you don't mind your town inhabitanta to move around, A LOT.

hmmmm. i just got an e-mail from another buddy- he made FOUR towns (he's got 2 weeks off and time to burn), and EVERYONE left form his original town except one annoying bird he hates, lol! so he's going to restart- good thing he just started on friday night...

Well you don't have to restart.

You have to get the characters in the OTHER 3 towns to come to your town over and over again to re-populate the first town (Had to do that for about 90 minutes last night)
