A person I work with is looking to sell all of their video games and VG related items to me, so I need to make an educated guess as to it's value. Everything is/was adult owned and well taken care of. Here's what the lot includes:

GAMES:

NES-

Final Fantasy (complete)
21 other titles, all commons, most with manual

SNES-

Brain Lord (complete)
StarGate (complete)
Secret of Evermore (complete)
Uncharted Waters (complete)
Wario's Woods (complete)
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (complete)
Final Fantasy III (complete)
Chrono Trigger (complete)
7th Saga (complete)
Drakkhen (complete)
Illusion of Gaia (complete)
Harvest Moon with manual
Earthbound (loose)
7 other common titles loose

Game Boy-

Mario's Picross (complete)
Space Invaders (complete)
Super Game Boy
2 other common titles loose

5 common PSX games
Zelda Ocarina for N64

2 NES toasters
1 SNES
1 N64
1 PSX

BOOKS:

The first 102 issues of Nintendo Power, including the 3 mini-strat guides(Ninja Gaiden 2, Final Fantasy, 4-Player)
Nintendo Strat Guides: NES Atlas, Game Boy, SNES, Top Secret Passwords, Super Game Boy
Compute's guide to Nintendo Adventure games (?)
N64 Power Tips (?)

Strategy Guides: Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Final Fantasy III, Brain Lord, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, Zelda Link's Awakening, Zelda Link to the Past, Zelda Ocarina, How to win at Super Mario Bros.

She wanted like $500 for it intially, and I told her that even $300 would be pushing it. I used the DP Guide and low Ebay prices to determine that figure, but I was hoping that some of you with a better idea of how this stuff sells could help me out. Any thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated. :)

I did a quick low ball total and $300 isn't too bad a price. There are some great snes titles and strat guides. I would say, bring $250 cash and say that is all you can afford. Most people won't say no when the cash is right in thier face. :D

She'll probably give him half the stuff, then, and say that she'll ebay the rest herself.

Luckily for me, she's totally Ebay illiterate. She was just going to take out an ad in the paper. Thanks for the input.

The strat guides and NP magazines drew me in quick, as my collection of them was used constantly, and they look horrible. The SNES games are nice too, but I'd prolly end up selling them off, seeing that I have most of them already. :D

You should be able to get away with it for $300, but personally I'd feel like I was lowballing it and offer $350 :embarrassed:

Anyhow, if you happen to have spare NP issues 77, 84, 88 after this deal goes through, LMK
