I found a game called Mojo at a local rental store. Is it worth trying? On one hand, it appears to be a very unique puzzle game with interesting graphics, but on the other... it was designed by Far Sight Technologies, which if I recall also created the legendarily awful Action 52 for the Genesis.

Well, if it's the Mojo I'm thinking of, it's probably only a little bit more to buy it than it is to rent it.

$10 for PS2. I bought it last week, but with moving back to school I've not had a chance to pop it in yet.

I posted about this game almost a month ago, but like many of my topics, it went unheard and unnoticed...and I don't know how to link topics.

Anyway, as I said then, it's like Super Monkey Ball crossed with Breakout, although it doesn't control as well as either. You move the ball around to break the colored blocks in the column, but the camera perspective makes it tougher than the controls. In SMB, the camera either goes behind the sphere or over the sphere, but in Mojo, the camera remains at a fixed angle. It's not bad, but not worth more than the $10 it retails for, but if you're starving for a PS2 puzzle game, it might fill that empty spot. Honestly, I haven't played it much since I first tested it out...

I haven't played Action 52, but from the legends I've heard about how bad Action 52 is, I'm sure it's better than that. I already like it better than Fantavision.

If Jess purchases this game, I shall go back in time to steal his...Mojo.

C'mon, somebody was going to say this, it might as well be me
