New guy here. :D

Just wondering if anyone has traded or bought from him before...

I sent him some loot for some nes carts and Im beggining to wonder if it was a mistake... :/

Its probably ok, its just that I dont know anyone here yet and im a little worried since he hasnt responded to my last couple of pm's asking if he has recieved the payment.

Funny you mention that.. Now I'm wondering if something happened to him, I hope he's okay! I sent him some money last week (a week ago today, as a matter of fact), and I haven't heard a word back from him since. He hasn't even read the PM I sent him on Tuesday, just to make sure the funds went thru Paypal okay.

How long ago did you send it to him?

You know, as nice as that "Quality Traders" thread is, in reality it's very very difficult to use. There are 15 pages of 25 posts each to read through, and no way just to search that one thread for mention of a particular name.

So, is there anyone who HAS traded with him that would like to say something?

I also paid him, so Id appreciate a pm or something if he's reading this. Three packages came in the mail today, I missed them and they are at the post office now, so after I get them Ill let you know if one of them is his.

Got the three packages, none were his.

To blatantly hijack the thread, I got a N64 controller in with a "firm" joystick -- I HATE the fact that these get ruined by normal use :angry: :angry: :angry: But what a difference a new one makes!!

I already do regret it. He's in the process of making THIS many deals with people, and he can't contact ANYONE to let them know what's going on? And I've gotten some other information that makes me EXTREMELY mad, but I won't post it here now. I will say, however, that I have now requested my money back from Paypal.

when he was active here about a month ago, he would reply to his email right away...

The only reason I can see him disappearing off the face of the world is if something really bad happened to him..

My concern is that the negatives on there state 25 and 35 days of waiting, after sending money, without ANY contact. And he didn't even respond to the negatives. So, what could be so terrible that happened to him that he could manage to send out some items (the "positives" from the same set of auctions) but couldn't send anything NOT EVEN an email to the other people?

You shouldn't let one bad experience taint the Buy and Sell forum, Anok. I've had probably a dozen trades go down here, and all have been fast, pleasant, and without problem. You might want to ask for references with the person you're dealing with, but even in this case, it wouldn't have helped, because, as everyone has said, he was fine in the past. Don't give up on internet trading just yet!

Maybe he has 2 eBay accounts. But my experience is the same as other people, got something from him on eBay, had to wait 2 or 3 weeks for any communication after I paid. He finally delivered $200 worth of 3do stuff to me. Nick seems honest and pleasant enough but I think he often needs a kick in the pants to ship his stuff out on time :D

I'm thinking perhaps it IS the same person with two ids. The location for both sellers is the same. I'm not calling any names, and maybe there IS something going on that's preventing him from contacting anyone. But I don't have "spare" money to buy games often. As a matter of fact, I think this is the third deal of any kind that I've ever done on the forums. However, when I start to see other people that have heard nothing, and it's been even more time than my own experience, I suppose I have the right to make my own decision. I sincerely hope that nothing is wrong in his life, and I'd like nothing more than everything to be okay. I just have to do what I have to do.

He does have two ebay accounts. One for selling and one for buying.

I've never dealt with him personally, but he's been around a long time now, and he has always conducted himself professionally on these boards. He did mention in another thread that he was selling alot of his stuff to buy a new car. That's why he has so many deals pending. He could just be extremely busy right now trying to get some overtime to help with down payment or something. I don't see Nick trying to screw over anyone here. He's not the type to do that.

Anyway, sorry guys, I have been AWOL this last week and a half for reasons beyond my control and completely understand your concern. Got everything ready to go and its all out tommorrow so i'll email everyone their delivery confirmation #s either tommorrow evening or Friday afternoon as time permits. I also split up all my remaining manuals and tossed em in your packages for free. Anyway, I suppose the moral of the story is that everyone's stuff should be arriving by Tuesday give or take a day and if not I authorize Portnoyd to give out my phone # so you all can make prank calls to my house at 4 a.m.

One final time I will send out my apologies for any concern my absence may have caused its just that I do get restained sometimes and I also have trouble looking at things like this from other peoples standpoints as I am cursed with extreme patience. For example i've been waiting to receive Magicard and Eli's Ladder in the mail from a reputable collector for nearly 2 months now but I look at getting video games in the mail like I do taking a leak, the longer you wait the sweeter it is when it finally happens. :-D

As for the other guy I don't know him. He sounds like a deadbeat to me. Making that post a sticky won't really help the situation unless the seller ISN'T a deadbeat. I knew NESCHAMPION wasn't a deadbeat and would come through.

He just needed a kick in the pants ;)
