Did all Turbo Duo CDs (US) have spine cards? I've seen 2 of the Bonk 3 in 1 CDs and 3 Y's I & II CD, and none of them had spine cards. Did these come that way, or is it just bad luck?

Thanks,
Drew

Edit: Changed topic to reflect what I meant, which is the lack of back jewel insert, rather than the spine card. My bad.

I don't think any US releases had spine cards. None of the new Duo games I bought did...

The point (I think) of the spine cards on the Japanese release is for a place to put the UPC code without putting it on the product itself. The US Duo releases all have it on the back of the jewel insert, and the Turbo CD releases had the UPC code on the outside box they came in.

I'm afraid I used the wrong term here, I meant the back jewel case insert. I thought that was standard, but on these 2 games I can't seem to find one.

Spine cards are only in japan and legally required on all CD based media to my knowledge. As far as I know, the ONLY US games that ever had spine cards were Neo Geo CD games.

The 3 in 1 disc is Gate of Thunder + Bonk's Adventure + Bonk's Revenge (+ Bomberman). There were 3 manuals included, but no jewel case tray insert. Ys I & II was originally released with the Turbo Grafx CD in a cardboard box and jewel case, which did have an insert. A 2nd version of Ys I & II was packaged with the Turbo Duo, but I can't remember if it had an insert... I sold mine right away when I bought the Duo because I already had the earlier version.
