Other than nthe obvious, what are the differences between the 4-port and 2-port Atari 5200? Is the 2-port smaller? Are there compatibility issues at all?

I think I've heard that that the earlier one had some compatibility problems, and that the latter version corrected it.

The 4-port uses a unique switchbox and most 4-ports are incompatible with the VCS adapter. The 2-port can use a standard switchbox and the VCS adapter.
