And BREAK OUT ON THE LIST OF WORST GAMES? God damn!
It probably doesn't have enough cut-scenes and summon spells.

I"ve actually stumbled into this site before, it's like the "Plan 9 From Outer Space" of video game websites. There are just so many things wrong that it's funny to read.
Ah well. Just another case to support my cause that people should have to pass some kind of certification before posting anything presented as "information" or "fact" on the internet.

GAME GRANDPAS? I didn't think this site was ever bad. The guy's Canadian, so give him a break. He could be French-Canadian, so you can't blame the webmaster for an overload of typos if his knowledge of English isn't complete.
Oh, and I can say BS. :bullshit:

I'm Canadian, and I'm not giving him a break.

Bottomline: The Atari 2600 VCS is really old and I can not recommend a game system that nearly killed off the entire Video Game Industry!
Considering the system sold 400,000 units approx. in 1979(alone!) I think the system was a pretty big succes.
These games should only be a DOLLAR or less. E.T. and Atari PAC MAN were so bad and so overstocked they crashed the Video Game market in 1984. "Thanks a lot Atari!!"
i AM SPEECHLESS AT THIS MORON
TOOTH PROTECTERS
These games should be around $50-$500 depending on the shape they're in.
I ahve never in my life seen a Tooth Protectors sell for 500 bucks. period.

This is my favorite logic:
, the Atari 2600 just can not compare with the memory cards, extra buttons, or better graphics of today. Be careful, the Atari 2600 game system really sucks compared to today's standards like the PS2 and GameBoy Advance. Sometimes its best not to look back.
And he must really hate Sword Quest: Earthworld, as he's listed it numerous times.

I don't really have anything terrible to say about the site... I don't agree with anything he had to say about the 2600 itself at all, especially trying to compare it to modern systems (I also didn't agree with what he had to say about Gunbird 2 for the DC), but the guy that runs it is a pretty nice guy. I had to give him credit for trying (typos and whatnot aside).
Of course, I also liked Plan 9 From Outer Space in a "so bad it's good" kind of way...

This is the part of the site that gets me going:
...I can not recommend a game system that nearly killed off the entire Video Game Industry!
Arrrgh!
Someone should take a copy of Phoenix and bitch slap him with it! **Sigh** It probably wouldn't do any good since the problem is not a lack of knowledge but an inability to properly form a conclusion from the facts!
I found this link on his site and it seems he blames the crash solely on Pacman and ET. x_x Maybe he is ignorant!

How can anyone rate the 2600 a 42/100??? @_@
Break Out was a great game. In fact, it's one of the best memories of my childhood, playing it with my father. He used to stay up after I went to bed to practice.
I could always kick his ass at Kaboom tho. 8-)
