Scored a great stack of PSX games at an independent video rental store's clearout sale. All ex-rentals, all in average shape for used games, but nothing terrible - better than what you'd find at EB Games in many cases. All complete too, except for the longboxes (missing manuals.)

Metal Slug X
Strikers 1945
Dead or Alive
Samurai Shodown Warriors Rage
Strider 2 w/original Strider disc
Return Fire
Psychic Detective
Star Craft 64 (lone N64 game)

The last three in the list (Return Fire, Psychic Detective, and SC 64) are up for trade. Too bad my PSX isn't cooperating with me anymore - I'll have to wait to enjoy the five I'm keeping for meself. ;)

Sears Tele-games Video Arcade (Atari 2600) w/ hookups, two joysticks and paddle controllers.

Dear god, I had to find one EVENTUALLY don't you think? No games, so no way to test if it works 100% though. Anyone want to donate a common not called 'ET'?

Disappointing day at the flea market today...not too many games in general (although I did pick up FF Tactics for the PSX for $5 complete), but one idiot vendor made my day by trying to sell a loose Chrono Trigger cart with a crappy label for $64. @_@ I thought it still had the original price sticker on it but he said "Nope, it's $64...it's very very rare." I just laughed, said "No, it's not" and walked away, hearing him shout "I'll take $50 for it!" behind me. If it had the box and manual it might be worth that much, but not loose and especially not with a label that looked like the dog puked on it.

Well, in the mail I recieved my MINT! copy of Asterix and the Secret Mission for the Master System (ALL the Asterix games ROCK!)
And on eBay I won : RC Gran Prix, Paperboy, and Castel of Illusion. About $30 total with shipping. all the games are the US copies, complete in exellent condition.
and I also won a copy of Hang-on on CARD! for the Master System. loose, but the box is SUPER rare for the Hang-on card. Heck, I'd probably rank the box up there with Home Alone and Smurfs 2 for rarity, so I'll be content with just the card (which isn't too rare, maybe R5)
There's also another UK SMS game I'm gonna bid on in an hour, so I might add to this list.

Edit: I just won a copy of Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck (complete) for 0.97 GBP!
Unlike Chuck Rock, which is a LAME, lame, boring game, this ones a decent platformer. Nothing to write home about, but definitely a competent game.

Not much for me, since I spent all the money I had last weekend when I picked up all those Genesis games, but I found a few little things for today:

King of Kings (NES) - $3.99
Exodus (NES) - $3.99

Exodus I only bought because I wanted something I could possibly use for trade.

I found a really nice boxed copy of Star Saga 2 for the Apple II today. I'm not a big text game fan, and I don't collect for old computers, so I threw this up on eBay in case there's a market out there for it. It looks to be pretty interesting though. I've never seen any game that comes with 20 manuals before. :o

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3045935510

Other finds today were loose Skate or Die 1 and 2 for $1 a piece, and Identity on DVD for $12. Very good movie!

Don't tell me thats Swap-o-rama!

HA!! No, it was the monthly Kane County Fairgrounds flea market, or, as it should now be called after seeing the vendors today, The "We Use Ebay As A Price Guide" Market.

Gonna check out the Tinley Park one next Sunday, I usually have better luck there.
