Hey, I'm looking to buy Dance Dance Revolution and pad(s). I've never played, but I've watched some people do it a few times and it looks way fun. Only in the comfort of my room of course, because I can't dance for shit, but I'd still like to give it a try. Can anyone hook me up for cheap? It might be a week or so before I can actually afford it, considering that I work at Party City so my income is limited. Thanks!

Jess, you can pick ddrmax for the PS2 and two dance pads on eBay for around 39 dollars with shipping, which isn't bad. otherwise you might want to try out the free stepmania game. The only stipulation is that you have to find the songs yourself, but you can put any song you want on it, it's pretty cool.

Aside from that, I can't really help you, sorry heh. I'm sure someone will find you a good deal though.

Oh, actually I need it for Playstation. Sorry, I should have specified. But, I don't have a PS2 right now, and honestly I don't have much use for one considering there are only a handful of games that are exclusively for PS2 that I would want. But, that's besides the point. The point is:
I need DDR stuff for Playstation.

DDR Konamix for Playstation should still be pretty easy to find in most video game stores. And like Fluke said, there are bundles like that on Ebay (incl. PSX ones)

There are only a few DDR games in America...
DDR US Mix (ps1)
Konamix (ps1)
DDR Max (PS2_
Disney Mix (ps1)
But there are other crappy dancing games out there eg:
Superstar dance club (ps1)
There are tons and tons of mixes for japanese and european systems.
If you have the cash, I would recommend the cobaltflux hard pads, as nothing beats them. But they cost a lot of money:

You can buy softpads, but they tend to scrunch up under your feet, especially when playing under maniac mode! Most people velcro or tape their soft mats to the carpet. They also tend to have a much shorter lifespan.
You could even do a google search and find out how to make your own hard pads if you wanted to.

Jess go to the forums here:

You can read how to modify soft pads for extended use, etc there.

I've seen in Toys R Us they have some DDR type pads for cheap. Also they had the Disney Mix(PSX) for $16.90
