which character has had the most games in his/her/it's name?
would it be mario? pac man? john madden?
and which character has appeared on the most systems? i'm guessing frogger, i think i have frogger for every system except the virtual boy, although pac man would be a close second?

Even though Bomberman didn't make an appearance until the NES came out, I'm pretty sure there's been at least one Bomberman game (and usually a lot more than one) featuring Bomberman for every system since then.

I think Mario's been in the most. Besides his namesake games he did make alot of guest apperances in early NES games, and in SSB/M.

I have too say Megaman. With all his new stuff like the X series and battle network.
Pac man hes been in every thing from day one. Don't forget about namco museum. Thats been on everything since the early ninties.

but it depends if offshoots count like ms pacman.
If so, then I believe pacman would win.

Mario has been in so many games @_@ I would say Pac Man is a close second. We are of course only counting U.S. release games ? :hmm:
