Radio Shack Prices Dropping?

I have noticed that in my area, Radio Shack (after many years) seems to finally be cutting back the prices on its bargain PC software. I picked up CivII for $5 the other day, and I don't even see the preview versions of Baldur's Gate or Deus Ex anymore. (I almost bought the latter once; there's only a little yellow thing in the corner to identify it as a preview.)

Is this strictly a Canadian thing, or has anyone else noticed it?

I don't think my local Radio Snack even CARRIES software anymore.

Sigh. Radio Shack used to be a cool place when Tandy was still around.

Same here. None of my local Radio Shacks carry any video games. They were even closing out those Game/TV switches too (an opportunity I used to purchase a couple spares dirt cheap).

Every store up here seems to be well-stocked with the latest Gameboy Advance and Playstation 2 stuff.
