This is for the Gamecube. I just picked up a copy at my local BB today. They had a huge stack and I did not have to preorder the game, just $5.00 out the door. I also picked Bladur's Gate for the GameCube for $14.99. Wow, not enough time and too many games.

You picked up the "Pre-order" preview disc, it was only 5.00, the game does not come out until November 21.
What you picked up was:
Pre-order Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike and receive a Limited-Edition GameCube disk featuring Atari's Star Wars arcade game (circa 1982) playable on the GameCube. Also included on the disk is the Rebel Strike playable demo and video, plus a video trailer from the all new gladiatorial-RPG Gladius!

Thanks for the heads up! I just picked one up for $5 today! Had to kinda put up a bit of a fuss since it was a new promotion and no one really knew what was going on with it. Got it anyway! Great level variety, great previews etc.
You MUST play the 1982 arcade game that is included! OHMIGOD!!! What an absolute blast!!! I loved that game!
I still suck though.

got mine too, $5.00 at Best Buy. I had to haggle around with them also, they didn't know where they were. A guy went to the back got one and confirmed the price in the system :D

Got one on Sunday. Sweet demo, though the ground combat seems a bit rough but it looks great. The transport protecting is HARD! Haven't passed it yet. The Star Wars Arcade game is pretty spot on. I was worried the voices wouldn't be in it (the IGN movie I saw didn't seem to have the voices) but they are there.

Cheers Dave.. Yes lil ole NZ bites the big one :) Im still amazed at some of the deals you guys can get, totally amazing. Having said that there is a New Zealand Limited Edition All Blacks ( Rugby Team ), GBASP just been released, i dont expect it will sell many, im wondering if its going to be a worth while purchase for future gba collectors

Well, here's my story. I sauntered in to Best Buy and saw the demos marked for $5. I took one up to the counter and had the guy scan it. It rang up for a penny. The alarm went off in this guy's mind and he asked another guy about it. The other guy said, "Yeah, a penny." He asks me if I want it and I tell him I'll be right back, I want to pick up some more for some friends. *Bad move*
I grabbed the other 9 of them and proceed to the same checkout guy all set to pay .10 for 10 of these demos. This was just too much for them. Another guy wonders aloud if there's a limit per customer. This sparks a debate which requires them to find one of the main managers. All the while I'm trying to convince them that these are similar to the DVD Samplers that they often have marked for a penny.
Bottom line, they got wise and told me I had to pre-order the game for $5 to get the sampler for a penny. I told them no thanks and went on my way. Off to some other Best Buys tomorrow to try my hand again.

hahah, thats funny. I was in Best Buy last week and picked up my demo. Then I saw the psx demo disks for a penny...so I bought about a dozen psx disks for the jewel cases.
Seriously though, check clearence stuff at Best Buy, you see penny stuff every once in a while.
A couple years ago, I picked up about 70 strat guides for .01 each.

Hmm...trying to decide now if I want to actually pre-order (like I was planning on doing anyway) or getting a couple of these ("one for me, one for a friend" ;) ) and just buying the full game anyway when it comes out.
Ah, screw it. I'll be making a trip to Best Buy tomorrow after work... :)
