Suikoden II opening theme question

This is quite possibly one of the stupiest questions ever, but...

In the beginning, the choir sings a bunch of lyrics that I can't make out. Anybody know what they are? Are they even in English? Japanese? Latin? Fiddygibberish?

Just curious.

Since I kinda enjoy being kicked in the diamonds: If you put the disc in your CD-Rom drive and play it backwards the song says "Mario is the devil and will eat us all for lunch on the last day- play me long play me long ect." :D

Not a dumb question at all QotF. The lyrics, like most other songs in the Genso Suikoden series, are in Italian. Here they are in full:

Gradii scutaque septem dies pugnabant
Omnia mala terra excitabat

Glaudius victoriae fulgor est
Strepitus armorum clamor est

Numquam illa flamma extinguitur
