I think there's a couple reasons why people haven't replied.
It still doesn't seem like all that much traffic is coming into this forum yet, for one.
The other could be that some people still have a bad taste in their mouth over the events invovling PC5 that occured here not that long ago.

<My link about the previous PC5 pissing match apparently upset Ruddy. I'll give his ulcer a break and delete this link. Curious? Go find it yourself.>

Why it's the friendly neighborhood Sniderman, true to his word and keeping the hatchet firmly buried in our backs.

What's wrong? Isn't there any more juicy, hate filled gossip to spread about PC5 and it's crew or did you not have your Wheaties yet today?

I've got it, why don't you lock this thread after erasing opposing viewpoints and show us what a manly moderator you are?

Oh, so now you're censoring yourself... way to be!

What was it you said? Something about how we can kiss your ass wasn't it?

SMOOOOOOOOOOOCH!!!

I'm officially letting it go Ruddy. It's over. I highly suggest you tip your hat and ride into the sunset.

Looks like we need some Troll-B-Gone.

Let the record show that I dropped this whole freakish thing quite some time ago when we electronically shook hands on the matter and agreed to disagree. You have not heard a PEEP out of me until YOU opened your big fat trap again.

You have some nerve telling me to push off after you've thrown the first stone and I merely chime in to defend myself.

As for the troll comment, what the hell was the honorable moderator doing in the first place? Selling pansies? No, he was flaming. Hardly mature behavior. Why don't you just BAN me and put me out of your misery?

Hey Ruddygore, let me clue you in pal.

I have no idea what your position is with respect to the PhillyClassic staff, but you're not doing yourself or the PC any favors.

You have 7 posts here guy.

And all 7 have been in flamefests with established members here.

This is a community, one to which you have yet to contribute.

Please realize that while Sniderman has clearly made up his mind about whether he is going to PC5, there are many of us here who haven't.

If it is as you state, that Sniderman is responsible for this little flare up again, then as a rep of PC5, shouldn't you endeavor to "take the high road."

For a quick lesson see how DP responded when you guys attacked him in the earlier PC5/Game Jam debacle here.

If you are unable to do that, then don't be surprised to see many of us undecideds make up our minds pretty quickly.

See the above for why you are "trolling". You're more than welcome to post and contribute to other conversations, but if you're only going to stop in to cause problems, then perhaps you should find somewhere else to go. There's nothing wrong with posting links to previous conversations that occured on this very same forum, even if it might cause some people embarassment, but I guess that should have been considered before the original posts were made. Yet even when Tim edits his post and states that he's not going to get into it with you, you still won't let it go. We could all post on here that we think PC5 will suck, and it's allowed because it's our OPINION. You'd win a lot more people over if you didn't come in guns-a-blazin' everytime someone said something you didn't like.

Ruddy's dictionary:

"flaming" v. : Posting a link in which he himself made disparaging comments to/about DP members. As "NateBrazil:" a nom de plume, no less. S'matter Mark? Can't decide who you want to be from week to week?

All I did was post a link to a message YOU posted. This is flaming? Ha. You're obviously new at this Internet stuff. And, with each new post you spew forth, you're just doing my job for me - convincing folks who were'nt quite sure whether to attend that you - one of the chief organizers - is a screaming weasel.

Keep posting, pal. I'm saving links to this thread too. And I'll post 'em regularly for the next 6 months leading up to PC5. It amuses me to watch you and your own event hung by your own blathering.

Wow, I just posted this topic to get people EXCITED about going, I know I am! I didn't know there was STILL conflict.... PC5, if stays true to previous formats, then should be great! I think lowering the ticket price was a great idea! Although, I am gonna miss having Friday night to set up as a vendor, I will just have to get there REALLY early on Saturday I guess.

I didn't know there was STILL conflict.....

Yup, I'm still a very bitter consumer.

<reads through the thread again>

Apparently, I shall remain that way.

What time do doors usually open up for PC? I might make the trip with some goodies and get a table, so I'd like to know when I'd need to be awake to set stuff up :)

Also, anyone have links to reports/pics of past events? I'm trying to get a handle on what to expect, is all.

Pics can be found if you click on the "Archives" link on the left hand side of the DP homepage, then find the Philly Classic 4 event.

-SNIDERMAN I wasn't at CGE unfortunately, no $$ to get out there!! Hopefully you will have a change of heart between now and March and I will see you in Philly!
