Panesian Games

Now, when these games origanally came out on NES, where did you find them for purchase?
Porno stores?
Cause i was thinking, if thats the case, has anyone really checked the porn stores for sealed panesian games, esepcially the ones that are more like truck stops and alot less likely to have a NES collecter drop in and know to buy the entire lot of them to turn a 1400% profit.

From what I've heard, they were sold at video stores. Maybe some mail order outfits, but mainly your local rental shop.

Good luck, but I doubt you'll anything in any porn shops except for bongs and people window shopping for rubber asses. :lol:

They were sold at some video stores but u had to ask for it and at some porno shops I would call up and ask if they have and porno video games bet u could get a good deal if they had a few still.

As a regular NES collector (~450 games and growing) those games (in my book) are not considered as regular US released games...

they were not available to the masses, and sure as heck, they were not available in all markets (I'm not even sure they made it all the way up here to Canada).

So if you're crazy about finishing your collection, good luck.. and don't forget to try and find an NWC grey & gold cart + some test carts. But if you want to have the same experience as any other Joe & Marry growing on NES.. i'd take them off your list of want-to-get and put them on your list of nice-to-have...

I'd consider them US releases. They may have been available to the masses, you just needed to look through a porno catalog from the early 90s ;)

Two of mine came from a video rental store, bc they came with rental stickers on the front. No doubt this store ordered them, probably rented them once, and then tucked them in a box until they hit eBay two months ago or so.

I've heard stories of people finding them(well one story one person) of finding them in a nudie store. I've checked porno stores before for them, bc going into a porno store is a good exchange for saving $1000 on all three. Your best bet may be mom n pop rental stores that have that sectioned off nudie section along with a game section area. Even better if they have aged old stock Genesis and SNES stuff lying around. Example, I *know* a guy with a store exactly as I just described it. He has his old stock of NES shit, BUT NO MATTER WHAT I OFFER (well reasonable offer) HE WONT GET OFF HIS ASS AND BRING UP THE BOX.

But anyway, ask at mom n pops for NES games period, who knows what they might have?

I guess as a regular collector as well, I wouldn't count the Panesian's in my quest to get every game released. Collecting for me is finding the stuff from your childhood, and my childhood didn't include the porno section at the mom & pop video store. They'd be nice to have just to say that you actually have them, but if you're out there paying hundreds for these, you're one sick puppy.

To add something to the conversation though, I've heard a few people mention an ad in Playboy that was selling these. I have no idea what issue would have had the ad, but late 80's-early 90's would be a good place to start looking.

I've never heard anybody say "I've found a Panesian at a porno store", but I've heard many people say they remember seeing them at a video store, or they've bought their own from a video store. That would probably be the best place to start looking. I know one guy who found all 3, complete, for a whopping $30 through a classified ad, but thats a brag not many people will ever top.

I read a story of someone finding Custer's Revenge for the 2600 at a porn store once. Don't remember where I read it though.
