I have found a few sites that have hacked Temco Superbowl. They have updated Rosters and College teams too. My question is this, Is their anyway to burn these roms on to a chip replace the chip on the Nes cart and play them on a NES? At my Job I have access to any type of chip I need and Data I/O machines to burn them.

I don't know anything about burning roms. But there are some sites that do have blank carts that you can download roms too.
Yeah, you can burn hacked ROMs and play them on the real system... it's just like burning chips to a homemade cart... you don't really need to use the exact same cart... as long as it's the same type of cart. That is pretty cool that someone updated the rosters Tecmo Super Bowl though :P .

if anybody can direct me to a place where i can learn how to make carts out of these hacked roms, post it or pm me. thanks in advance!!
Here you go... here's the format that the ROM that you download from the site is in... http://project51.emuhq.com/Cart/Loading%20NES%20ROM.shtml . And here's a pic I took of my Tecmo Super Bowl cart... http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dogp/tsb.jpg . So, what you'd need to do is open the ROM in a hex editor... remove the first 16 bytes, then the next 256K should be the PRG ROM, then the remaining 128K should be the CHR ROM. To get them on the cart, you'd need to remove the old ROMs, and replace them with programmable chips, like EPROMs, EEPROMs, or Flash Chips. I didn't look for the pinouts of the ROMs, but they should be very similar to the programmable chips.
OR... you could get one of those NES systems that plays ROMs instead of requiring the actual cart... like the Dr. PC Jr. (I think).

is there any way you can take like.....some sort of flash memory and hook it to it. like any kind of flash card or usb hook up. and how about this eeprom stuff. i know a little about this stuff and my dad would know tons more than I but if i go to him.......i want a little information to make me not sound stupid. how hard are these things to create and what equipment does it require?

Well... it's not really a flash card like you have in your camera... it's based on the same type of thing, but totally different connections... you need a chip that acts just like the old mask ROM that you'd be removing, and they make flash, EEPROMs, and EPROMs that do that. To program any of these, you'd need an EPROM programmer, I'd recommend a Willem ( www.willem.org ), because it's cheap and supports lots of chips.
For example, by going from the top of my head, the EPROM to replace the CHR would be a 27C010 , and the PRG would be a 27C020 , the first being a 1mbit (128kbyte) and the second being 2mbit (256kbyte). The same would pretty much go for flash, except flash's generally start with 29F instead of 27C, so it'd be 29F010 and 29F020 (and many times they have extra letters on the end for different revisions, package type, other specs, etc.) You'd have to make sure that you get the chips in DIP (Dual Inline Package), that way they just drop in the same holes, although you need to make sure that they have identical pinouts, or you make the proper changes.
Also, if you decide to go with EPROMs, they require a UV eraser to erase the chips after programming, personally, I'd recommend Flash, because it's the easiest to work with, requires the least equipment, although EPROMs in the sizes/specs required might be more available than Flash. Personally, I'd stay away from EEPROMs, there's not really a reason to use them since they're typically harder to find, and there's not really any advantage to using them.
About how hard they are to make, not too difficult if you can solder... if you can't solder, you'll have problems.

So Dog, You are saying I have to split the downloaded Rom into 2 parts and then burn them on to the 2 driffrent chips?
Yeah, the NES cart has 2 different mask ROMs on it... so you have to burn 2 different chips to replace them. The ROM you download just has both of them plus a header merged into one file for ease of use..

I cant seem to find the Toshiba chips anywhere. Or a data sheet so I can find a replacement, DOes anyone know where I might find some?
Here you go... as I figured, they follow the same standard pinout for the most part, http://nesdev.parodius.com/NES%20EPROM%20Conversions.txt has instructions on what to do, although they're not very precise, it should help you figure it out. You'd just need an EPROM programmer, and use a 27C010 and 27C020. You can get these chips for really cheap on ebay...
