I recently picked up two copies of Gun Smoke for the NES but they have different labels. As far as I know the games are exactly the same. Here's a pic:

Does anyone know why there are two different versions and if they have their own respective boxes? Also is one rarer than the other?

Yes, there are 2 different boxe to go with the games. I have one of each...now for instructions, I have only seen one kind. Also I believe the one on the left is the older version.
There are also box/cart variations for
Bases Loaded
Black Bass
City Connection
Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom(lic. cart)
NES Football
Wayne Gretzky (2 different jerseys)
TMNT II
I think Portynoyd may have a list of different variations. If anyone has a list all together, I would greatly appreciate it
Also if you really want to get in depth there are also variotions on the chips too. I know Mario/DH has 2 different kinds, also GOLF, and Panic Resturant.
