Quick question...how much for PC-Engine Shinobi?

(It's a very nice port of the arcade original...the original shadowing effect as the Shinobi symbol spirals around Shinobi's head is in there...levels look astoundingly like the original!)

Guess I was led astray... /japangaming on classicgaming.com stated that it was very rare. Well, I'm glad that I didn't trade a SuperGrafx Daimakaimura for it. I think I'll have my contact try to find a copy instead.

It's fairly rare, but not VERY rare. It appears quite often online, which implies that it's more along the lines of a demand rarity item than an actual rarity. I wouldn't traded Daikamura for it, that's for sure.

Played to the second area...first area seemed pretty darn short, and the boss Ken Oh showed up way too fast.

They messed up the Marilyn Monroe bit! The mark on her cheek is supposed to be gone in just one of the six posters--I'm certain it's an Andy Warhol reference.

I'm paying $35 for it, which is more than the seller paid, and less than I would have.

Yeah, woulda been crazy to trade Daimakaimura for it, especially since the SGX version so soundly thrashes the Genesis version.

I like the PCEngine version of the game, although it is darn hard...well, at least I think so. Keep checking ebay for it. I purchased it in mint condition for $7.99 I believe.

Really? Oh well, $35 is already locked in the system (I think the guy'd notice if I canceled this payment and gave $25 or less). That said, I paid a bit more than I had to for my used (but complete) Daimakaimura, just because I did. Sometimes I give a bit extra on these single-game sales, helps people like me more (even if I don't go get another game from them, it doesn't make me feel bad). 'sides, other people have to get by too...
