Are you kidding? It has to be the game cube hands down. Many kids games and their favorite characters- Mario and family.

Obviously the PS2.. So many platform games (Koloua 1-2, Jak & Dek, Rachet and clank, sly cooper, etc!) lots of RPG's that a kid would like (Dark Cloud 1,2 for starters) The usual array of sports titles  lots of racing games, YOU CAN PLAY ALL THOSE PSX GAMES that are now cheap (catch up on Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire!) and when you get older.. your ready for some retro GTA action.

Easiest vote I've ever cast in my life.
The Gamecube was BUILT for kids - that's why Nintendo is losing the console war.

Define young.
5-9
10-14
15+
My son (age group 10-14) has never liked the GC all that well and has always said that he likes the games on the PS2 and the Xbox better.
My oldest daughter (age group 15+) likes her DC a lot, the GC second and the Xbox third. She doesn't show much interest in the PS2.

Yep, it's the between round "pump up" scene from Ring King. I wonder if the developers really meant it to be so nasty looking?

Made me think at first, but then it was no contest: PS2. With all the little kid software for it and the PSOne, and that PSOne software being cheap as hell right now, it's a no-brainer. GC was made for a more... calm... audience, this is true; but think of the amount of software for little to young kids and you'll understand.
