I went to my local game-x-change on saturday and i saw ninja gaiden 1,2,3 for nes together being sold without boxes or manuals for $80.00. I have all 3 games already and i paid like 10$ for the whole set, I was wondering if this games actually are worth something or is the store fixing to rip off somebody? I always thought the ninja gaiden series was pretty common on the nes.

Yea they're pretty common.
I sold a couple sets of all 3 on E-Bay last year for $19.99

$80 for loose cartridges is definitely a shameless price. $20 - $30 max, someone tries to make a fast buck.

yeah, these people sometimes have reasonable prices on systems and games but when they think they have rare stuff they jack up the price, like 40 or 50$ for a loose super mario rpg or 40$ for a loose final fantasy nes. they located right outside my mall and in gamestop at the mall they are selling games brand new for less than what game x change is selling them used.

Hello, xfactor1984! I don't think you've been properly "welcomed" yet! So, let me take a moment to do so!

I just wanted to take a second to greet you and "officially" welcome you to the Retrogaming Roundtable forums! We've got a great bunch of people here of all ages and all backgrounds, who collect for and play all kinds of systems so you're sure to find someone you've got something in common with.

Also, we've got a little "introduce yourself" thread here:
http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11

If you get a moment, feel free to stop in and share a bit more about yourself with the forum at large. And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask or send a PM to myself or any one of the moderators of the forums.

Like the man said, "Game ON!"

Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for SNES is semi-rare, but the NES games are common. I paid less than $10 each for mine boxed complete in mint condition.

Definitly too much.
