I'm just wondering if they're worth dealing with. Do they ship good, are they honest?

I notice alot of the rarer games are really overpriced, but their common games are fairly reasonable. Any opinions? Should I buy from them?

I used to buy a lot from them many years ago. Recently they've gone under new mamnagement and are as previously stated, THE WORST. It took 5 months to get my import of Soul Caliber on Gamecube when it should have and was supposed to take 2 weeks.

Okay, maybe that was 3 words, but save yourself the hassle of waiting 8 months for an ordered game like I did. Order whatever it is elsewhere.

One of the most blatant scams those guys pulled off, they put out certain games not in stock and listed on the site, when you order them, they charge your redit card and don't ship the items, later they just said, oh, they're not in stock, we'll just give you the store credit, I've heard this happenning to a few guys.

Otherwise the most common problems is waiting forever while they charge your cards right away, if you're anal collector (Neo-Geo stuff, etc), they don't pack and give any cushioning to the games, sometimes with just a thin envelop, if the mail drops off at your house and it rains or if it sits on the mud, you know how the games (inserts, case) will be like.

I feel the need to put in my two cents...

I ordered some games that were in pretty good demand at the time they were released there (PAL DC Shenmue II, Rez, and Headhunter) and had absolutely no problems.

However, my next order was for a NGPC game (which, I don't remember) but I never got it and got the "Backordered, here, have some store credit" deal. So I ordered DC Biohazard Code Veronica Perfect Edition, and got it without problems within normal shipping times.

Hit and miss for me. Http://www.ncsx.com is reliable for me. No missed shipments, no BS.

The nice thing for me was they asked me if I wanted store credit or a refund when they failed to send the Jaguar games that I oredered from them.

(If you're wondering, I got the refund. I was a bit annoyed with them havingso many Jag games for sale on their site, but not having a single one in stock.)

I've never personally dealt with BuyRite, but my cousin has.

If I remember correctly, he purchased a Pro Action Replay 5-in-1 cart for Saturn as Brand New, but recieved it in a plastic bag crammed inside a padded envelope.

Wow, Ncsx is VERY overpriced. I'll throw in my 2 cents for screw buyrite, I've never dealt with them, but have NEVER heard anything good about them.
