I'm posting this in case anybody on the forums has one of these items, especially the Genesis Shinobi 3; I'm searching for them elsewhere as well. I'd like to get a better price than I would elsewhere. Right now I'd put down money for any of the following things:

Sega Teradrive, must be complete with the box and in mint condition. Model 3 if possible. (Good luck, me :)

Sega Mega Drive/Genesis titles:

Phantasy Star 1 remake (MD, also want the Mark 3 i.e. Japanese SMS version)
Phantasy Star 2 (Mega Drive)
Super Shinobi + Super Shinobi 2 (Mega Drive, Japan)
Shinobi 3 (Super Shinobi 2 U.S. version)

These are some things I'd LIKE to get but aren't as necessary.

MSX2 stuff, again: Konami games Akumajo Dracula and Contra (it's not Gryzor, though some people call it that...) Also want Contra 2 for the Famicom

Super Famicom stuff:
Zelda 3, Contra 3

PC-Engine SuperGrafx console (so I can play me Daimakaimura and other PC-Engine title, maybe get the hookups for Super CD-ROM^2 games).

Neo Geo:
Last Blade + Last Blade 2, Japanese

Game Gear Shinobi 1 + 2

That's about it, folks.

And if anybody has that Super Shinobi 2 beta for sale, I'll pay BIG bucks for that one :D

Sorry that I don't have anything, but what in the world is a Sega Teradrive? I've never heard of that before...

Just as good that you don't know :D

No, it's a computer/Mega Drive combo, should come with a Sega monitor as well.

Oh, I think I saw a magazine ad for one of those before (Early-90's). Heh heh, good luck finding one!

AFAIK it was released as a combo. It was a 386 SX computer, and it had megadrive hardware inside too. You could use regular PC programs, or pop in a megadrive game and play in the monitor.

I dont think itīd be very expensive right now, just a little rare ;)

According to old-computers.com, it has a switch to change between modes. In their pic, the monitor says Sega on it. Very cool! 386SX isn't really much to write home about, especially compared to a DX, but that was pretty darn good for a Japanese computer when lots of people had those Motorola 68K powered Sharp computers.

Also, here's a question...was Shinobi 3 released (guess I'll ask about PAL as well) in the U.S. with a cardboard box, a plastic case, or both? I'm referring to the regular, non-compillation game pack.

I just PM'd you the info, but in case anyone else was wondering, the American release of SHinobi III came in the regular hard cases (before Sega started going cardboard). Cardboard cases SUCK!

I could use a Genesis 3, but it's got to be complete -- with the box.

Anybody have a spare one lying around? '-'
