Was at Goodwill on my lunch break today, my first day back from my Vacation in Santa Fe, and noticed two things. One was that there was a vader 2600 with 13 games I didn't have (except for Combat, but this combat is a different label varient then my current copy) was up for sale for $20. The other was that the two young men who worked in the back checking all the items that come in were not there. So I purchase the 2600 w/paddles and 2 sticks (everything was well taken care of, it looks 10x better then my current 'working' 2600) and ask where the guys where that usually do all the checking in. Luckly I asked the gossipy woman the question cuz I got the dirt. Apparently the two guys got caught smoking a joint in the back and were fired on the spot.
It's funny how this Goodwill never had any big gaming hardware until the young 20 something help got fired and a week later my first hardware find at this store happens.. hmmm..
