O.K. this is what i bought.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3048293696&category=3608&rd=1
And this is the e-mail I received a day later.
"I am sorry to inform you that there was a mistake with the the buy it now price for the auction. The price was supposed to be set at $120.00, not $12.00. I will refund your money through Paypal immediately. Again I am sorry for the inconvenience."
So I ask , WTF !!!!!
Needless to say I am not happy. I think they did a search and saw that they had a few rare games , and got sellers remorse.
Well , I acted like a prick and e-mailed them this :
"That is not acceptable. You say you bought these at a yard sell , don't know if they work and were going to put $120.00 as a bin. Yea right. I suggest you pack them up and ship them out or I'll file a fraud complaint with E-Bay.
And you will receive a negative.
A bunch of bull , I know. But I was pissed . It's the first good deal I've found on E-Bay in a while.
Oh, Well I just had to vent a little. Thanks for listening.

:bullshit:
That's a negative waiting to happen. Anyway, how old was the auction when you used BIN? That's the red flag you need....if it was older than 24 hours, then too damn bad. They had plenty of time to change it. Even 12 hours would be suspect.

That's their fault. File a nonselling seller if they dont comply. They put a dollar a game because that is what they thought they were worth.

Latest E-Mail.
Again, sorry for your inconvenience. I paid more than $12.00 to purchase this set of games. I know that the value of some of these games is at least $20.00. I was told by the seller that these games do work! Furthermore, I have the right to set a BIN price accordingly. I was prepared to offer you a game mailed at our expense to compensate for any inconvenience. Your immediate negative response; however, prompted me to contact ebay for help resolving this issue! Sincerely,
Greta
And my response :
Yes you have the right, but as a seller I have NEVER set a BIN and not
double and triple checked it. I find your story very hard to believe ,
especially given the fact you waited nearly 24 hours to contact me. And
$120.00 , give me a break. Any idiot who checks the price on these games
would see they're worth a MAX of $40.00.
And you were prepared to offer me a game , Highly unlikely or you would have
said that in the beginning.
Like I said Fraud and a Negative.
Next time be more carefull.
Like I said , I'm being a jerk , but I'm seriously PISSED !!

The one thing that sellers have to be careful of is that auctions are now posted almost immediately after you have started the auction. It used to take awhile for the auction to actually be posted. I have made a couple of mistakes myself as a seller. Never when I originally listed an item, but when I have revised an auction. I lived up to my mistake and took a loss and that is what this seller should do as well.

Well, I would live up to mine too, but I dont think this was a mistake in the listing. She meant to put $12, a dollar a game, but later looked and realized that she could have got more. No way did she mean to put $10 dollars a game. I would have belived a BIN of $6 and she meant $60. As said above, seller's remorse.

Waitwaitwait...SHE contacted eBay?
"Um yes eBay, I just violated your terms of service and refuse to sell this item that a bidder bought with a legally binding contract. Help me please."
:hmm: x_x :hmm:

Well, you can kiss getting the games goodbye, but the others are right -- you're the one who has the legal leg to stand on.

everything else they sell is baby booties...lol
All I can say is ...what an idiot. Your auction, your mistake, live with it.....she probably got the games for nothing too.

she probably got the games for nothing too.
Considering that she bought them at a garage sale, I would say that she probably didn't pay too much.
