I guarantee you've never seen a Famicom about the size of a quarter on eBay :)

I was wondering what sort of Famicom I was gonna see--sharp twin (three different types of that) or the oldest style, maybe the newer style. This is modeled after the newest type, the so-called A/V Famicom (for...just guess what the A/V must stand for, I think that's what it means) which looks essentially the same as a top loader.

That said...do the cords actually flex?

ya, the cords are flexible and the controllers really plug in. It's from one of those vending machine things (I forget what they are called) that are popular in Japan. There is a whole series. The other ones are original Famicom, keyboard & cassette recorder, Disc System, Twin Famicom, and I think there may be a mystery one. My friend just got back from Japan and he gave it to me today. I need to get them all now.

Yeah, TRM is right. I almost bought a set a few weeks back on E-bay myself. Saw a 5x set, and, a 6x set. 6x came with an extra Fami.

That is awesome. I saw those on ebay and was going to buy them, but the price went up too much for me.

Those have to be the coolest things to ever come out of a vending machine.

Gashapon (toy capsules)

Those are neat though! I'm gonna head down to my local toy capsule dealer and see if they can get those in (easier than eBay)

Yes, Gashapon, that was the word I couldn't think of.

If you or anyone else finds these in quantity I would be interested in a set for $10-$15.

Thanks, y-bot

:o Wow! That is the coolest thing I have ever seen possibly in my life. the only other video game thing I have seen come out of a vending machine is a bomberman figure that shoots bombs. But that is much cooler. I wish I lived in japan! :o

What's the big deal? It's just a really big quarter! Sheesh.
