Doing some cleaning. I'll be moving in a few months, so a pre-emptive emptying of the things I don't need is in line. I already made a post on my board, which is relatively empty. No takers, so I'll post here. (FYI - if I do sell anything, I'll always post there first).

****Trade takes priority over cash. Stuff I'm looking for, and what it's worth to me is at the bottom. Remember, I can probably get most stuff cheaper here than the states. If you don't like the value I place things at, then don't offer it for trade. ****

Some of the stuff you can see at my site:
http://www.classicgaming.com/japangaming

PM me if you're interested... don't post here.

ALL items are Japanese products. Shipping is included ONLY for the Wonder Mega.

Wonder Mega. With all the hookups, and a controller. No box or manual. $165 shipped EMS. (Shipping is $50, FYI).

Galaxy Fraulein Yuna Book:
Forgot the name, but it's a damn big book. You can see it in the bonus section of my site. Lots of color character designs and whatnot. It's a big book. I'll have to check on the shipping cost. $15

Shining Force III Compendium- I think everyone knows what this is, if your'e a Shining Force III fan. If you want to see the cover, there's a wallpaper of it at my site in the bonus section. It's a huge book with SFIII character designs and all sorts of stuff in it. Not sure what I"ll let it go for, but will entertain SERIOUS offers.

Game Wave DVD Vol. 22 PSO Ep 1-2 cover
DVD contains too many games t olist. VF4, FFXI, Onimusha II, Gensosuikoden III, Splash Down, Lupin III, Crazy Taxy 3 and an "E3 Choice" section. (sealed - $10)

Famitsu Xbox Aug 2002
Comes with a DVD which includes a lot of goodies. Tekki, Murakumo, Phantom Crash, Brave Knight, Crimson Sea, Dead to Rights, PD Orta, House of the Dead 3 (DVD viewed, but in nice shape, as is magazine $10).

Dreamcast VMUs - Dream Point Bank Exclusives:
Perl Blue $10
Perl Pink $10

Dreamcast Controllers - Dream Point Bank Exclusives:
Marble $15
Tree Bark $15
Camoflauge $25

NEC PC-Engine Memory Base 128 (Memory Expansion Unit)
Boxed w/ sort-of-manual thing $10

Games:
Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict (Gamegear - like new) $75
Alisia Dragoon (MegaDrive - excellent) $50 (yes, I know the US version can be found in the bargain bin)
Rainbow Island Extra (MegaDrive - excellent) $40

Stuff I'm looking for
NOTE: Prices denoted are for FIRST PRINT (no Best of) complete copies, w/ spinecards and manuals. Still interested w/o spinecards, but they'll need to be marked down a bit. Don't bother if there's no manual/case. Also, as for the items I'm offering, MUST be Japanese games - I have no way to play any others:

PSX:
Akumajo Dracula Chronicles $25
Kaze no Klonoa (not the volleyball one) $15
Chrono Cross $15

I guess I forgot to mention something. I live in Japan, hence the $50 shipping for the Wondermega.

Yes, but it was called to Atari 2800 (Maybe 2700-I always mix it up.)

Sisko:
As far as I know, it does just what it says - expands the memory of the base system. Now which games require it? Hell if I know, and I've played a lot of Turbo games, w/o needing it. I *THOUGHT* Motoroader MC required it, but I was proven wrong.

Maybe Max can jump in here and tell us.

As for the Atari... I've never seen one. 16-bit seem to be the retro-systems of choice, and of course, the hundreds of Famicom games for those that like their games a bit older. I did see an Intellevision in an old game store here once (the Japanese version) and they wanted like $450 for it. What a joke.

Collecting the Japanese releases of ancient American consoles...why didn't I ever think of THAT before? Hehe.

Well, the machine was there for a while. I doubt anyone ever picked it up. i've never once seen an Atari game here... haven't really looked though, either.

Some kinda lame DC games to add to the stack:

Virtua Striker 2
Daytona 2001
Pen Pen Tri-icelon
Evolution
Virtua Fighter 3tb
Golf Shiyoyou
Seventh Cross
Broadband Passport

For these, I'm basically looking for someone to take them all for the shipping cost ($10 about). Might or might not be worth it.

Out of curiosity...is the golf game the same one released in the US as Tee Off? If you don't know, that's cool...I'm just a nut for golf games...so I'm interested in that lot...

I could imagine that Intellivision never sold, either...wierd.

And people can go into some stores and find prototypes of Japanese systems, even some unreleased stuff, if you're lucky...

Out of curiosity: how much are:
Famicoms
Famicom AVs
Famicom Disk Systems
Any pirate Famicom console
And how common are the above?

so you are giving these away for the price of shipping? or did you mean something else by what you said?

Hey I was in Japan so I can answer a few of these, Famicoms I could find for around 40-60 (the liscensed one, including the toploader type one)
Disk systems I could find around $200 complete
Pirate Famicom could find for imbetween $20-40. Only saw a couple disk systems but the rest I saw all over the place!

I'm really unknowledgable on the Famicom... good thing someone else answered. I have seen a few Famicom Disk games around... in the show case at medialand.

As for the DC games -- yes, I tried to auction then off on Yahoo Japan, and couldn't even get 100 yen bid. I'm in a cleaning mood, so am basically offering them for the shipping. SOmeone has tentatively claimed them though.

FYI -- I do post stuff like that every now and again in my forums, so it's probably not a bad idea to check there every now and again.

People: Sealed Famicom Disk System games aren't unknown; I've got virtually a shelf full of them. They'll run you about $50 a piece; the Super Mario ones are a lot more as people in Japan want $100+ for them, which really isn't worth it unless you're some sort of Mario completist freak (of nature).

Metroid? $60 new.
Akumajo Dracula? $70.
The original Legend of Zelda release? $60.

If you want a good system that'll play both Famicom cartridge games and disk games, consider buying a Sharp Twin Famicom. There's essentially two kinds: The red/black and black/red version (in fact I wrote all this recently, deja vu...but keep reading) and a more attractive black version with green highlights; I'd get this one. An A/V Famicom + Disk System might be a good choice, too (and I'm actually not sure if the STF comes with A/V capability...ergh)

Seems like the site was down for a while there.
I'm going to Ebay this stuff next week I think, as I need the space.
Last chance, kiddies!
