That would be great! Just so I clarify myself, if you only have carts, or just a manual or box, I would buy/trade for that as well.

I ended up snagging one on ebay for 5 or 6 bucks, but I do need the manual and poster if you ever hunt that down. If you still want to sell it, I am sure I can find a buyer around here for it.

I have the following:

Bebe's Kids (w/ box)
Captain Commando (w/ box)
Sparkster (Cart Only)
Super Turrican 2 (Box and Manual Only)

It'll be at least a week before I can get these out of storage and check on their conditions (I know the Bebe's Kids box is in beat up shape, and the cart is a formal rental...), but I do have them...

BTW Soulblazer did come with a Poster which has a map on the other side.

Rentals don't bother me, I can clean most of them up to look like new, as long as the label on the cart is intact and undamaged. PM with what you are looking for in return for these titles (cash or trade)

A local gamestop usually carries harder to find games by me. ( A friend of mine just picked up a Super Turrican 2, and Snow white) It will be a couple days before i can go there, but ill check for you.

The also have Lufia 2 when i was last there. I think they had it marked for 20. Cart only. Seems exspensive to me. They also had Boogerman. ( this was last week so they may not be there)

I'm surprised you don't have Earthbound or Sparkster, neither are that rare in my eyes. Though having said that, they do seem to both command good money on eBay :P

And no, the complete copies of both I have are not for sale ;)

I've seen ISS once in my lifetime in US version and ISS Deluxe precisely zero times. It exists, it's in the guide, but I was looking for copies of both of these for years without success. The pain of being a US SNES owner and not being able to play the best football game on the machine

Many of the games that I need I did have at one time, but sold them off before I decided to get a SNES collection together, I know I have seen both of those soccer games before, they are not that rare. I will take whatever people have to sell/trade. If it isn't complete, I am more than willing to take what you or others may have to offer.

I think that ISS and ISSD were only released in Mexico, with perhaps a small supply reaching the US. I have never actually seen one, and I recall that the folks trying to get all the rom image dumps had to find them there. I actually would like to aquire them as well.

Unfortunately, I do not have any games on your list.

Quick nitpick: Super Mario World/Mario All-Stars didn't come in a box. I'm pretty sure it didn't have its own manual either. So you can scratch those off the list. ^_^

It is a LONG story, that I will share at a later date :D . A few people here know how I came across most of my collection for NES and SNES. It is my greatest find I ever had (maybe I should send it to Joe for his LORE section in the DP guide version 8) :) . I am guessing I only need about 25 to 35 boxes and about 100 to 150 manuals to get it all done. (There are some manuals and boxes not on this list that I need as well) This list started with me needing close to 60 games, now I only need 17, so this topic has helped me greatly!

@hydrox: thanks for the auction link, sometimes I miss stuff that hits ebay so if anyone sees something I may need from this list, feel free to PM me with the link.

I'm still not convinced that Universal Soldier was actually released.

I'd have to say that is one game I haven't seen anywhere yet, but I have a feeling if Joe placed it in the SNES U.S. releases list, he must have seen it somewhere (or someone that is a section editor has). I'd suggest bringing this title up as a topic on the Collecting forum, we might get a better answer there, or just PM Joe and raise the issue with him. Considering the time and effort they put in to the rarity lists on this site, they will do everything possible to make them as accurate as possible.

Right now NES is about the most common, some are starting to collect SNES and VCS has always been popular.

I'd start with the NES if I were you.

Probably going to go after my N64 set next. I just made a deal with dave2236 for a ton of nice minty N64 boxes and manuals so I can go after auctions with just big bulk cart lots. I probably am going to be taking a break from doing any serious buying though. I have to sort out all of my genesis games, and that could take me a few months. Other than that, I'll probably start going back and filling in the holes on my older stuff like atari, INTV and colecovision.

And I see you are another Wisconsin DP'er! Glad to see that! Dave and I are planning on having some type of gaming expo in Green Bay next fall, but we'll see!

let me just straighten this out, I'm not in wisconsin by choice (LOL, 4 more months of school and I can finally move back to chicago). If your interested , I can probably get one of Marquette's ballrooms for free (my engineering frat desperately needs to "host" a professional event, so it we'd take care of all the arrangements). Also my reef club usually holds conventions at St. Norberts and they get the space for next to nothing. PM me if you want to discuss this further

I went to the only store in town that has SNES games for sale and found Seaquest DSV wth box. Since the game is shrinkwrapped, I do not know what condition the cart is in (I've bought a couple games and they all have had rental stickers on them, and the carts have been in every shape from mint to dog-chewed horrible). All their games (NES, SNES, and Genesis) are $10 each. If you want, next time I go (It may be awhile though, and I'm sure it won't be going anywhere), I can pick it up for you.

Yeah, thats been posted around here before. The only problem with it is that you have no idea what the quality of the carts will be. It's a decent deal if your not worried about condition though.

Thanks for the link, but I didn't need anything from it (just picked up a complete packy and marlon off ebay yesterday). Most of the game are pretty common and would be a great deal to start your collection, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to condition so if I don't know what the condition is, I'd rather pass on that.

Thanks

I think I might have a Final Fantasy 2 manual.

If I can find it, it's yours for a dollar.

@Querjek: drop me a PM with what you have as well.

Thanks for scanning through my large list of manuals, I was meaning to post the entire list all at once, but wanted to get close on all the carts first. This latest post comprises everything I need. Feel free share this list with anyone who can help!

Thanks
