Mame v0.74 and removed roms...

Well, I have been quite busy preparing for my new job (Postal Worker) and I haven't had the time to update my Mame sets as of v0.72, so I decided to do that tonight. I didn't realize quite a few games (2001) were removed from the latest release and I ran ClrMame pro with the new version on my roms. Well, as you can guess, ClrMame read the new mame binary and removed the "unwanted" romfiles including Kof 2001 and a few others. Luckily I had my entire v0.72 set on DVD-R, so now I'm in the process of copying the deleted files back to the drive. Just a warning, if youy do not want these roms deleted while using clrmame, use the backup option!

Or, just don't use ClrMAME. I never do.
The decision to drop all the new ROMs from MAME really sucks. I wonder if the designers were pressured into doing it by Playmore?

They really aren't saying. I see a few people posting about it on mame.net, but it seems when anyone asks what happened to the roms they just get flamed as being "warez kids". Oh well. Who knows what will happen next. Hopefully other roms aren't removed.
