Does the Sega-cd unit read burned cds? I know it reads music, games, but burned?
If it can read burned cds, why is there no 2600 emu for the sega-cd?

I may of been off-line for the answer but...Has anyone ever tired to run the Sega CD roms found on the-underdogs site on a SEGA CD?

Yes, it will, but not all kinds of CD-R media will work since it's an old laser assembly and somewhat fickle like most tech from the time. To put it another way CD-R compatibility wasn't a concern back then.
The dev scene is non-existant for the Sega CD, and there's already an 2600 emulator for the Dreamcast, isn't there?

They work. You need a program that can burn from the image files.
