Today, while getting rid of my junk mail, I noticed one in perticular that caught my eye:

FreeVideoGames.com

They also have a music and a DVD section as well.

Basicaly, you sign up for various offers from their website, with associated companies like AOL, Discover, Lowe, and EBay. You get points for doing so. Then you can redeem those points for games, consoles, and accersaries.

I know you're expsing yourself to a ton of junk mail by doing this (make a new account for it :) ) and some of the offers you have to pay for, but there seems to be enough free stuff in there in order to get at least one game.

So has anyone tried this site before? Or know anyone who has? I'm tempted to try it out just to see what happens.

Actually my friend just told me about this. He has been using the Free dvd website. So far he has gotten the first two seasons of the simpsons for free. I know if i had a CC i would be all over these deals.

Well, I spent some time on this site tonight.

You can't get anything for nothing from here -- unlike some other sites, which gave you points for just taking surveys or clicking on links -- but I saw this as a chance to do some early Christmas and birthday shopping for my folks and a friend. :D

I signed up with Columbia House to get some free DVD movies (have to take a few more in the next year), which I'll mostly give to other people. Same thing with a Book Club thing. (I'll keep one, I'm trying to become a better cook. :-D ). I also signed up to get a free Credit Report (was going to order one anyway) and I'll call next week to cancel the membership. Finally, I ordered a Windows XP from the Video Proffesor website (just $7 for shipping) for my hopeless computer Mom. LOL

After all the points for these four offers, I had enough to get a game, so I picked Boktai for the GBA. I'll let you guys know how I make out. :)
