Is Skulls & Crossbones (by Tengen) for the NES any good? I saw in for sale, and I wondered if it's worth picking up. I'm not an expert on the NES area, but I do know some of the Tengen carts are not easy to find.

As the Tengen NES ports go, Skull & Crossbones is one of the better ones. As long as you're not expecting the superbly lush graphics of the coin-op, you won't be disaappointed. :)

Okay, I might go for it then... I am hesitating a bit though, 'cause the game is part of a 12-game package, and I'm not sure if it's worth the $40 this will cost me....

Games included: Double Dribble, Captain Skyhawk, Time Lord, Skulls & Crossbones, Major League Baseball, Ghosts n Goblins, Airwolf, Flying Dragon, Silver Surfer, Silent Service, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Gauntlet 2. These are all NTSC games.

If you want one, I know I have one for sure laying around here. I am working to get a list of my doubles ready to sell hopefully tomorrow.

I'll sell you one for $4 shipped

Also, its not a bad game.
